Online Stormwater Training and Certification
This web-based stormwater training and certification is designed to teach professionals how to inspect stormwater pollution prevention plans and construction sites.
Certified Compliance Inspector of Stormwater (CCIS™, 0.6 CEUs, 6 PDHs) is a six-hour certification class designed to educate municipal inspectors and jobsite stormwater managers to properly implement, maintain, and inspect a site for stormwater compliance. This training covers the physical techniques as well as the proper reporting and documentation requirements for ensuring compliance under the NPDES Construction General Permit. Modules include:

• Basics of Erosion and Sediment Control
• Erosion Control
• Sediment Control
• Pollution Prevention
• How to Inspect a Construction Site
Certified Preparer of SWPPP (CPSWPPP™, 0.8 CEUs, 8 PDHs) is an eight-hour certification class designed to educate professionals such as civil engineers and environmental engineers to properly prepare a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan. This class has the same elements as the CCIS class with one additional module dedicated to the preparation of SWPPPs. A CPSWPPP can write, implement, maintain, and inspect SWPPPs and construction sites.
